A Summer Wish
Oil, 12x12 on canvas with black wood floating frame
I can remember being delighted to see the dandelions turning to fluff in our front yard when I was young. We would gather as many as we could and make secret wishes as we disbursed dandelion seeds around the yard. As my dad battled the weeds, we gave them a chance to come back the following summer to grant wishes again.
