There are many things that remind me of fun times. Sometimes it is the people, sometimes the place, and often, my memories of fun times are triggered by food and drink. Whenever I see a Bloody Mary on a menu, or drink one at a brunch, I immediately think of my step-sister, Connie, and her husband. She was about 10 years older than me and a great friend and mentor. We hung out a lot and inevitably we ended up with Bloody Marys. That is when we had very serious conversations and solved most of the world’s problems. So many good memories created with good friends and cocktails. This one is for Connie.
