Every summer and Christmas we went to SC to visit Nana. If we were arriving late at night, she made meatballs in the crockpot. When we arrived around dinner time, we went to Joe’s Asian Fusion, or mom would get take out. It was great to relax and share sushi rolls and Thai dinners after the long trip. When mom got sick, their wonton soup became a weekly favorite.
